Does anyone out there has any experience on linking Martin M-PC to Capture?
- In my setup (Win7 64bit SP1) both programs are installed on the same system.
- I have attached a Martin USB widget and set the ArtNet options to Full broadcast.
- and verified the IP address is set to Automatic in Capture (even tried setting it manually, to no result)
Any other ideas?

Hi SkaterBoy,
Are you connected to a network of any sort? If not, attaching a network switch might help.

Hi Lars,
I've tried different setups:
- 1 system (running both M-PC and Capture)
- 2 systems (1 running M-PC, 1 running capture) connected via a WIFI network (ping successful)
- 2 systems (1 running M-PC, 1 running capture) directly connected via LAN cable (ping successful)
To check if M-PC sends out ArtNet, I have connected a Martin Maxedia server which responds correctly.
Tried Automatic and assigned IP address.
Turned off firewalls.
Any other ideas? I cannot imagine being the only sole on the planet to run into this problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated! You guys make an awesome product.

It's gonna be difficult to ping, if the network is not set up correctly I assume...

You have loopback install on your PC?

Nope, I didn't have the Microsoft Loopback adapter installed. Did so, retried, but without success.
Also I have TeamViewer (remote desktop software) running. Closed it, retried, but again no luck.
Retried with Chamsys Magicq - to check if the setup was correctly - this works fine, but I am not sure if Chamsys is sending pure ArtNet (besides in the options I can explicitly select Capture as visualizer)
Oh right, I also disabled Avast Anti-Virus and my firewall.
Any other options?

Mmm, I just tried to reach Capture on my Macbook-Pro (IP 2.0.0.2) using MaqicQ PC on my Win7 desktop (IP 2.0.0.1) - no firewalls, no antivirus - and I can't get it working either... :-(
Tried to intercept the ArtNet packages using the DMX workshop tools, but nothing is moving. Aaaaarghh

YESSSSSSSS, it works.
Make sure you use an IP Address in the 2.0.0.xxx range and it seems to be working!!! Seconds after my lst post suddenly everything kicked into gear! Pffffieuw. Good luck, guys.
