Afternoon start people. I'm having an issue that maybe is known but i cant find any info. I'm running an NDI output from Resolume into Capture. But fur some reason i dont have any dimming control. its just on or off. Resolume master fader or individual layers or clips all the same. dim to 1percent and it stays the same. go to zero percent and its off. makes it very difficult to previs video compostion and the layers dont blend properly. I checked it running internally both softwares on the same computer and across a network between 2 machines. also checked with NDI Studio monitor and the image comes through fine with dimming control and all, locally or across network. So its definately something i'm doing in capture. I aslo checked it in capture with a projector ficture as aposed to using a material mapped to LED panels. oh and i reset Nvidia settings to factory. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

If i recall correctly, this is because Resolume dims using alpha. And because NDI supports alpha channels it passes through that alpha component with the full level video. You can turn this off, and force it to dim using the RGB channels by un-ticking "Alpha Output" in the advanced output when you select the NDI output.
