Hello.
Have been playing around with extract feature and come up with some ideas.
I would like to see the ability to extract an entire layer from another show file.
So you would bring up a box where you can check which layers you want to extract, this would be an alternative to the current extract feature which is great as it is.
This would also mean that the layer appears in the layertable with the same settings.
Even DWG imports could have a box where you can choose which layers to be imported.
This is to avoid having to prepare the show and DWG files before you open the Capture for imports.
A "save selected" option would also be great.

Hi Hebbe,
Good input! We'll include this in our 2.8 feature planning!
The only thing I didn't quite follow was the "save selected" thing - what did you have in mind there?

It is a function from another well-known software.
If you have one or more items selected and then press "save as" you get the option to "save the entire project" or "save selected".
The selected items will then be saved in a separate project with the same coordinates.

I hope Lars Berg has passed on my other suggestions because I do not have your email address.
