Is the a reason why the XYZ axis in Capture have a different orientation? All other Cad systems seems to have the same orientation following the Cartesian system, but not Capture.

Hi Sivert,
Capture uses a right hand cartesian coordinate system, with X and Y mapped to the screen, because that's what I thought would be right in 1997 when Capture was created. Unfortunately it seems most other softwares chose another convention, but changing it in Capture now would be a problem with old project files.

Hi Lars
Thanks for the answer to my question. So what you are telling here is that Capture will continue the use of right handed cartesian coordinate system? Or do you have a plan to change that in the near future?

Hi Sivert,
There is no plan to change this at the moment, but if many users ask for it we will give it priority!
