Hi everyone, I am looking for connecting MA 2 on pc (without MA-lighting hardware) to Capture 2020 locally. Is it possible and if yes, how to do so (ArtNet, Sacn, Ma-Net 2). I think that the connectivity page that I read about 100 times does not give a lot of information about which setup has to be made to connect to capture locally (on the same computer). I am using a demo version of Capture. Is there any restriction in this version that would prevent me to do so Thanks in advance, ...

I have a friend that finished a design in Vectorworks and wanted to bring it into Capture to visualize but when I bring the data instrument file in it all the fixture are placed all over the place. But the dwg file comes in fine. I can't figured out what the problem is

Can using and eGPU (external graphics card) improve performance will it work with capture 2019 & 2020. Also do a you have a recomended card that will work best with OS 10.14 and capture.

Okay, I have had this problem across all versions and Platforms of Capture. I Create a Truss tower with Truss base, Truss and Lights. I then group it all together. Now, I want to clone that group and move it to a specific X,Y,Z, coordinate. If I do this through object properties, it will move each individual item of that group to that position instead of moving the group center to that position. I have a VectorWorks file that I am exporting as a DWG so that I can import it into Capture.  When I import it into Capture it does not import the 3D models.  Suggestions

I saw on the fixture  location report, there was a ‘coordinated’ but it is always empty for battens.

For a typical line set on a plot, I’ve always shown the purpose of the batten (1st Electric, etc) and the distance from the plaster line. I’m having problem with this in Capture. Unit works fine for purpose.  But I’d think there was an automatic way to show distance from plaster line, especially if the 0’ line was also the plaster line. Hi, I am using Capture with Obsidian Onyx over sACN. Controling fixtures from Onyx works fine, but is there a way to control the fixtures directly in Capture to change the DMX values of Onyx It would be very nice to configure the pan-tilt in Capture, then use this position in Onyx. Thanks

Hi all. I have made a full design for a musical in capture 2018. Stage, props, trusses and of cause fixtures. Fixtures are placed in the trusses, but they are not yet patched, Now I have connected an Avolites Titan mobile under the assumption, that I would be able to patch the fixtures in Titan, but the exixting fixtures in capture does not show up in Titan. If I patch new fixtures, they pop up immediately, but the original ones are ignored. What am I doing wrong Best regards, A...
