Hello All,

I am currently deciding if this visualizer will work before i purchase.

I own an ETC ColorSource 40 AV,

I have downloaded a the latest DEMO version of Capture.

I connected an Ethernet cord from my console to my Laptop with the Capture Demo installed.

From the Capture Library, I added an HES Studio Spot 575, and addressed it to universe 1, with a DMX address @ 25

On my Console, I added the Studio spot and addressed it to universe 1, with a DMX address @ 25

In the Console settings, I selected ArtNet

In Capture, the External Universe is defaulted to auto.

The light does not illuminate in Capture.

What am i missing.

Please check the dmx universes of Capture if they receive dmx values. If they do then make sure you are running in live mode in Capture so as to see the lighting. If not then please review your artnet settings on the console side. If everything is set up correctly make sure your network is also functional.

Whenever I get a new version update, I need to turn off the public network setting in the firewall.

Then do a reboot on both the PC, and Controll desk (ETC Colorsource)

Doing this will allow you to controll lights in the visulizer.
