Hi Once again I find myself designing a rig with I pix's BB7 fixtures. As there are no BB7 in the capture library, I use an 7 I pix satelites and arrange them in a circle. But when I turn on the Ipix from my D4 I dont get any light out put. Is there any other way of getting a basic 5 channel RGB fixture to show up in capture Yenz Newillumination lighting design

Im running capture along with avolites D4 simulator on the same computer, via an ACDI from avolites. Recently Ive found that any movement with a time fade will freeze halfway throug the move, as if the DMX stream stops. When I send new DMX info, for example a new colour or gobo, the move will continue. This also happens with movement chases and shapes. Funny thing is, when I use my skype phone on same computer, then it all works fine. Its almost as if some connectuion or port on the PC closes an...

I'm looking for a new graphic card and I don't know if it's better to take an ATI or a NVidia chip'... I also think that 1 Gb is better than 512... I tried Capture with a Nvidia 9400 chip and 512Mb memory, it runs, but sometimes it freezes (only full-screen) Thanks

Hi, I have a problem with the unit numbering 'wizard'. Once I started numbering units I can't reset the unit number. I press reset and in the window it does reset, but when I continue numbering it does continue from the last set unit number. I also tried typing in the new number and pressing return to no effect. Anyone any ideas Kind regards Florian

I was wondering if there is a way to rotate the top view in the plot to help fit it in the page better. Also I noticed that the top view has symbols but they are all pointing the same direction as opposed to pointing where they are focused in Polar. Is there any way to get the symbols on the plot to match where they are focussed in Polar

Hi capture Team, i have install the new library file.now in my project the lamps are ON also when the dimmer 0 It occurs with the sun strip but also with a 4 lamp and stage blinder (audience blinder) Also within A new project the same problem occurs RegardsKoenV

Hi GuysIf you try to connect a Green Hippo Server (HD, Critter, Portamus what ever) it is not function at the Moment. I will Test a Beta Version from Hippo the next 2 Weeks. I'm sure it will work in the near future...CU Matthias

I'm about to buy a new laptop and wanted to know what anyone else is running and especially what not to buy. I'm running an ATI crad at the moment and cannot run capture polar graphics. I also find visualisation runs very slow when I hook it up to a desk and try to run more than 2 universes. Any tips recommendation would be appreciated Thanks Yenz Newillumination lighting design

Hello I'm using Capture Polar on a Mac running Snow Leopard. When I put a color filter or a gobo in the slot frame of a fixture I can't seem to change or delete it later. I've gone into the fixture tab and also the properties of the selected object. Each time I highlight the slot frames for either section I try to delete or move the filter or gobo and nothing happens. If I just try putting a different filter or gobo in its place it just adds the two together.
