Direction snap not working

I can't figure out why but when I go to paper mode, I can't make the direction snap work as in the video tutorials. I can manually grab one fixture at a time and spin it but I can't select that same fixture or group of fixtures and enter a value in direction snap in the plot section of properties. When I attempt this, it only let's me enter a value between 1 and 90 and the fixture itself doesn't move at all. Also when I spin A fixture manually, it doesn't change the value in the direction snap s...

Hi guys,I am finding that in a presentation, any motion controllers where the console default is 100, they are staying at 0 until I change the level on the console slightly, then they snap to 100 and work correctly after that point.When I connect to Capture software, they start immediately in the correct positions.Any suggestions, or are you aware of thisIt's fine for me, but when I send presentation files, people say they cannot see anything because the set is in the way.See you in Frankfur...

Cant add Video player

Manual says 1st step of making LED panel display video is to go to Media tab and press 'Add'. When I do, error says
'Could not find or failed to initialize Apple's Quicktime library which is required for video playback! If you have not installed it, please get it from http.....'
I have Quicktime Pro! What am I doing wrong

Vista Connectivity

I am trying to connect a vista I3 console to my Macbook Pro running capture basic. I have the 2 connected via a cat5 cable, however capture is not recognizing the console or DMX. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there another program I need like a driver for the console

LED elements / brightness / contrast

hi 'captures',
i have some bad problems with the contrast / brightness options in the live mode. for my example (see below) i picked some martin ec-20 tiles and mapped a material (media - videoplayer) on it.
when the brightness is turned to 100 contrast / colors are going mad, as you can see. on the next pic brightness is turned to 1 and you can see that the video is alright. Funny thing about it: if i choose the orthographic perspektive the video is shown right.
so my question is ... wha...

Enttec Pro or no?

Hello. I have budgeted £60 for a dongle. I was going to purchase the ENTTEC USB to DMX dongle however I can only see support for the Pro version of the dongle, but I will not be able to stretch to this (at least in this years budget). Will the open version of the box work with Capture Solo version or do I need to purchase the Pro dongle

Editing Fixtures

Is there a way to edit the profile for a fixture I've found some issue with the ETC Source 4 Fixture profiles having an extra N/A address that doesn't exist in the fixture making a 15 address profile into a 16 address profile.thanks-Lowell

I often use borderless LED TV's like Samsung ue55a as video walls
there is no way to map video on multiple screens
could you please add this function or implement the Samsung borderless TV series to the media fixtures as it is possible to map media fixtures
