PCStage is a dmx converter (windows based) http://members.westnet.com.au/mvw/pcstage/plugins/index.html On their website under the plugins they have got a link to capture 2005 website also there is a file that you download and run as a plugin in pcstage that connects the two programs togather. Lasse or lars, I Use the capture software now with the Chamsys MQ 100 Console and MagicQ PC. Chamsys says that the patch can load from the plot of capture into the console or PC software. But it don’t work! Is it a function that you not supporting anymore Or is there a another reason Thanks for your reactionKvernooij

When I add a fixture (ETC S4J) in Alpha using paper view, it appears in all the other windows as it is supposed to. BUT when I move it around, the position doesn´t update in the other views. If I change Alpha to cad view, everything works perfect. Is this a bug or have I missed a part of the user manual

Hi, I´m running capture on a laptop with an external screen. It seems that the onlys way capture can work with two screens is by stretching the desktop. I would like the screens to be in dual mode (ie. configured separately). This mainly to be able to use different resolutions but also because I want to keep my entire 'standard desktop' on my primary screen. When I use the abovementioned setting, the secondary screen freezes it´s image. (only in capture though) Thanks Viktor

When using a standard stage (ex. black box), I would like to have the option of making the wall closest to me invisible. ie the one currently blocking my view. Yes, I am aware of Layers, this would be a function that actively chooses wich wall to make invisible depending on my point of view.

Hi, I've got a problem connecting e:cue to capture. Although everything is configured properly (IP, Firewalls deactivated, etc) e:cue always tells me 'Error: not available'. Has anybody an idea what I'm doing wrong Thanks in Advance! Regards Jörg Peters

Hi Firstly, let me explain my setup. I am using a highend PC for visualizing and want to set up my Macbook running Parallels to do the CAD side of things on site. I have installed Capture on both now, with the PC being activated and fully working. My Mac however has errors. 'Could not initalize translation support' I have had a quick look at the file structor of both system and cant see any difference. However, when I look in the session log, I see that its trying to load the translation f...

Hi I purchased Capture last night at 10.30pm, UK time. I expected an instant download of the Keyfile, to unlock capture. I knew reading the site that I would have to email Capture some infomation to unlock the software, but I still havnt even got the Keyfile. How long is normal to wait Ive emailed shock solutions and Capture, but I guess because its christmas eve, there having a few days off work (lucky for some). Cheers Mic.
