A forum feature request

Would it be possible to have somewhere in the forum to post feature requests and have people be able to vote on items to show how much demand there is for each feature
For example, I have two requests for enhancements to the Live engine; reflective surfaces/materials and light pass-through of translucent objects/materials.
I understand some things are going to be larger coding challenges than others so feedback on how many users desire said features should help with deciding which items are wor...

fixture hanging on truss

I'm looking for tips on how to manage positioning fixtures on truss.
Currently i want to evenly spread 8 fixtures around a 4m circle of box truss. I want the fixtures to be on the outer/front chord facing forward (the circle is vertical, facing forward at the audience.
Any tips on how to select preferred chord, whether fixture is hanging straight out or spun 90° and how to make them hang evenly around circular truss if possible.

Questions before I buy

Hi,
I currently use Wysiwyg and was thinking of moving to Capture. First I have some questions.
Can Capture tell you the total power used by the lighting rig and create other power reports ie. Total load per circuit I can see there is a power rating for fixtures in ‘Equipment reports’ but no mention of power in the fixture properties. Would you have to do this yourself by exporting to MS Excel
Can reports be created showing weights for individual trusses or areas

Future Request? Focus added in Fixture Report [Atlas]

Hello Capture Team,Hope things are going welll! :)If it's not possible to show focus notes of fixtures in Fixture Reports, can this be added in future releases of Argo, Atlas and Nexum It would be nice to carry the report while doing a focus call of a rig, or having electricians rough a prefocus before flying pipes out to trim.ThoughtsRegards,Johnny

Floorplan import.....please!

Stopping Objects From Snapping

Hi All,Is there a way to stop an object snapping to another object in Nexum I'm sure there was a setting in older versions where you could set a time delay after you stop dragging an item (but still holding down the left mouse button) before the snap function activated.I've tried pressing Shift, Ctrl or Alt when dragging but that doesn't help.Thanks,Robert

Adding Fixtures

In searching the file structure (PC: C:\Program Files\Capture Nexum Student Edition\Library\_LightingFixtures\Chauvet\PARs) I found many fixtures and one in particular I need. I'm having trouble finding instructions how to get the fixtures I have found added to the console so that I can incorporate them in my layout.
