can you set dmx control for the brightness of a video player or the screen it is showing on?
Has anyone managed to get Chamsys MagicHD to show up as a citp feed in capture?
I have had a quick go without success but that is with everything running on the same machine, I guess it may need to be setup properly and networked with matching IP's and so on.
I have been playing with NDI on windows, at first with no joy and I thought it may not like being on the same PC as Capture.
But thankfully after restarting everything it all decided to play along and wow! Once it was working it simply appeared as a source in the Capture media window.
This is exactly the kind of thing I've been after for ages, I shall have to explore it in more detail.
Hi,
There are two methods of intensity control, depending on what you have applied the video to. If you have applied it to a regular object then use the luminance property of the material. If you have applied it to an LED panel then use the Intensity property of the LED panel. You can see both used in this tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ3MLHh_cNw
OK, here's a feature request.
Would you be able to add the option of the luminance property on materials to be DMX controlled? This would expand the options you have already built for the dmx material generator and be very useful.
