Animations controlled by DMX / Media player

Could it somehow it be possible to change the status of an animation from freeze, to playing with DMX signals. That would be super cool for someone like me who creates stuff for his portfolio using Capture, and that could elevate the render hugely. Greetings from The Netherlands, Stijn van Faassen.

MVR Import Remember Selections

When importing an mvr, you choose the correct fixtures and modes to match to the MVR file. You may find you need to make changes to the original drawing in whatever software it was drawn in. And then import a new version of the MVR to Capture. When doing this, you have to choose all the correct fixtures and modes again. Could Capture remember the previous matches you set on import to speed things up

Motion Construct - PSN

Currently motion construct when connected to a PSN tracker, only the XYZ position affects the object. Could the ability to invert PSN or the rotation of the motion construct be taken into account please Sometimes (as per a converstaion with Lars at Prolight) the tracker data sent from other software can be inverted, especially when working with space devices (combining multiple hoists to one tracker with XYZ Yaw Pitch Roll).

Fixture Duplicate & Import

When duplicating fixtures, I would like the ability to include the same patch, rather than duplicating it as unpatched. Perhaps you could make this as a setting for people who prefer unpatched – in which case I will set it to patched. This is a big deal when you are duplicating many fixtures to compare designs using the same fixtures. In the Fixtures table, I would also like the ability to copy and/or paste values in multiple cells at the same time – like you can do in an excel spreads...

Spark, Fireworks, Fire, Drone and fountains viz

A few days ago I was thinking about creating a lightning show including fireworks, fire, some drones, spark and some different water effects to make a complete show. I tried to put some of these fixtures inside the visuals but it was a little bit limited. What do you think if Capture add more kind of flames, water jets, fireworks, drones and cold spark

Global Illumination

Could Capture get more realistic Global Illumination This would make the light reflect and shine more accurate throughout the scene. At the moment the Fill light is not accurate at all and just fills the room with the color of the light instead of calculating multiple lighting bounces.

Higher Bitrate for Renders

Would it be possible to add an option where the user can set a custom bitrate value for movie renders Also a second option would be also very useful to choose between VBR (Varible Bitrate) and CBR (Constant Bitrate). I find that the final exports are too compressed because it uses VBR. When setting the bitrate in Capture to Ultra for example it will not export at that bitrate shown next to the 'Ultra' text because it adapts itself. This could be fixed by using CBR.

XYZ Coordinate System Improvements

It would be very beneficial to swap Z with Y directions on the Origin. Lately handling plots to riggers has been a challenge as they often misread the Rigging point locations. They are used to the XY plane to be the ground plane (top view) instead of the front plan (front view).
