In Capture the Unit property seems to be a catch all for many kinds of annotation. I'd like to see it become just the Fixture hanging position ID, in line with standard LX drafting practice, and other LX lighting programs. Whatever numbering convention one chooses to use, they all have in common that the fixtures are numbered sequentially on a defined hanging location, bar, boom etc.  When the Designer removes a fixture from that bar, or alters its position with the line of fixtures, everythin...

It would be awesome to be able to specify a view’s model position. So you could specify that the “0” line of your model would appear in the centre of the view box. This would make lining up PLAN / FRONT / SIDE views on a print plot a lot easier. At the moment you just have to eyeball the position and get them somewhere near. My OCD means I want it to be perfectly lined up.

Having used this focus feature in WYSIWYG I sorely miss it in Capture. It seems strange to me you have the command to export the focus as seen through the lens for any or all lanterns, but haven't implemented it as a focus feature I know about and use 'Focus Selection', but its annoying having to navigate around the big selection box and the fixture itself to position the POV just in front of the lens, or to one side of the fixture. The text size sets the channel annotation size. I'd much prefer to be able to independently set the size of the text in the Channel circle so as to have it a larger percentage of the general text size; you can already separate the channel annotation right out on its own, it looks like you should be able to alter it, but its not possible. thanks rabbit

Capture's plot window on the paper has similarities of function to paper space in AutoCad or Rhino. However, what these programs have which Capture lacks is an option to lock the scale. I find it too easy, once I have set the scale, to inadvertently lose it while working on the plot.  Thanks rabbit

certain led battens (like the chauvet pxl 16) have split zooms, where the zoom feature has more than one cell or instance. This is currently not supported by capture so zoom1 controls all zoom cells on the fixture.

The ability to have a customisable led tape, for example CV, RGB, RGBW, pixel density, diffusion and length, profile options would be nice also.As making them via texture generators is a bit dull!  So, for example, 5m RGB 60led per meter. Opal diffusion.

Hello All, Working with movers is sometime a pain, when you want to combine Up and domwn movers to Rotators, In exemple, to simulate a screen wit 4 asserved Motors, you need to first add a X rotator, then assign it to a Y rotator, then assign this second one to a Y movers. Could we have just one mover, with 6 axis options X,Y,Z and Rot X, Rot Y, Rot Z, So you can patch only one axis or more, only the one you need for your project. Thank you

Can I import models from external software with all versions of Capture For example... Can I import from AutoCAD with ONLY the 2025 version

We have a DMX mover on every fly bar in our venue.  For ease of navigation/visibility in the file we prefer to have the bars at 20m (grid height) instead of 0m (floor) on the Y plane.   The DMX mover display for these reads 0m when the bar is at 20m and 20m when the bar is on the floor.  This is correcly showing the range of the DMX mover as designed.  But it would be useful to have a fuction to display the actual Y position of the fly bars in meters rather than the offset range.
