I have reburbished a maxxyz console, replacing the old duel pentium pcs internallt with and intel haydes canyon NUC (pleanty of processing and graphincs power)
All PC Win 10 X 64 latest version
Onyx Console IP 2.0.0.10 (field work) Production machine IP 2.0.0.11 (planning) Pangolin Beyond PC IP 2.0.0.12 ARKAOS/Resoume 2.0.0.13
when i run capture 2019 in my production machine and arnet is set to 2.0.0.11 all works well
If i run captue on the onyx console and specify the console ip 2.0.0.10 i have no joy
having it set to automtic provides no joy
note - i did this have once for about 15 minutes perfectly ... once restarting i was not able to repeat the process of it working properly.
Any help apreciated
Issue resolved
I think the nuc was getting DNS conflicts from the wifi network providing internet access.
In a windows 10x64 environment
This was fxed by:
1- Disabling all network adaptors except the one for the wired network (gets 2.x.x.x IP via dhcp reservation provided by router)
2 - open command prompt, type ipconfig /renew (this get all active adapters to drop config details and request latest info from dhcp)
I think having the wifi open and connected to a second network to access internet and updates DNS was causing confusion for the software
