Hi Is there any possibility of adding an auto save after a set amount of time (provided by the user in the options form)? I am really bad at remembering to save my work, and have lost hours of work due to BSOD. This would be a really handy feature. Cheers Michael.

Hi Michael,

It has been added to the todo-list (or given higher priority)!

Would be nice yes and an push button after you update your library with restart automaticly or carry on. So you don't have to start the program yourself but with a simple click on that push button it t will do this for you. (so save function should also be implement in that button)

Hi,

We'll see what we can do - we might be able to avoid the restart.

And now if we load the new update libary files we have to set every gobo from your own settings back in the fixture. And reload all the gobo's and other stuff.

Can this be done automaticly? I don't think a MAC600 or another movinghead changes. But we change the gobo's. Now I have to re-insert them again if I update the library with NEW stuff.

Overwrite this fixture with his settings yes/no?

And I even asked a list what is added with the new library......because I don't have to look at the total library......they call it a revesion report. Makes it more easy for the customer.

You do this for the program. Why not for the library?

Hi Lars

I have a Workshop with 7 Guys (LD's and Operators). We're working with Capture Polar Version 2.4.12. Some LD's really missing the Auto Save function.

Can you say something about it. Is it implemented in the next Release at Springtime?

Hi Matthias,

I have bumped feature 106 from low to high priority now, but it will probably not make it to our march release.

However, it would be valuable to know the reasons they are missing it;
a) Old habit
b) Capture crashes (god forbid..)
c) Some other reason?

Thanks very much to putting it on High Priority. It is just in case the Software is crashing (Windows or Capture) or you get a PC with less Grafic and processing performances.

Sometimes you're working a long time on a Project and forgot to save it;-)
