Hi guys, I'm currently have a project on hand trying to simulate a projection mapping on a wall. Currently the setup is using a 20k Lumens projector projecting to a white wall. However, the brightness is a bit disappointing I would say. My question is, are there any ways to increase the projector's brightness ? Or any other way to simulate the mapping on the wall ? So far I've tried creating an exact surface of the wall, then map the material to the wall. However, it looks very fake as it looks too bright. Adjusting with transparency doesn't help as well. Hope you guys have good ideas to suggest. Thanks.

Let's start with the actual projector and why the brightness is dissapointing. Please mail us the model name at library@capturesweden.com and we will doublecheck it. I assume you have selected the right optics once you dropped it into the project. Looking forward!

Hi! Firts congratulations on this awesome piece of software! I'm in love with it! But has this topic had said, I'm having some problems with the brightness of almost all of the projectors on the library! Even a Christie of 30k ansi lumens is just too dark! I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like this in real life, so I can't simulate it properly :/ How can I get more light out of the projectors? Thank you!

Hello Victor and thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate it.
Regarding the projectors I was wondering which Christie 30K you used as it turns out we didnt have anyone above 16k ??? :)
In the meanwhile we just created a 30k Christie and is now available in the latest library update. Please give it another try now with the comparisons and make sure you are using the correct model and also optics, as well as a zoom value. Then if you have more questions please mail us at library@capturesweden.com and we take it from there.

Oh, my bad, I was talking about the 16k. But anyway even with the new 30k Christie it doesn't look very real. Look at this picture of the projector on a 6 meters distance with a Fixed Lens 1:1 for example, the brightness is too weak isn't? compare it with the moving light http://s14.postimg.org/67dab6ekx/Capture.jpg I don't know what I'm doing wrong :( I really want to make some nice simulations for a lot of video projection projects I have here

In your video projects do you also use lighting too? The question specifically is, do projectors seem dimmed as compared to lights or amongst projectors only? If you only have projectors please take the ambient to 0% and brightness to 100% and let us know the results at library@capturesweden.com , then we take it on the details from there.
