Hi...I just found out about Capture and I downloaded the trial software. I found a very interesting tutorial on YouTube: http://youtu.be/tfESbV03QbE and the guy in the video is opening some sort of tutorial plot on his ChamSys. He calls the file tutorial.exe. Is this file available for download somewhere? Thanks! "ned"

Hello Ned,

the project file you are looking for is named club.c2p and can be found on our website in the download section. Once you have downloaded it open it in capture and then from your chamsys console load the file named capture.shw . The tutorial.exe that you see in this nice video from the Chamsys guys is an executable that runs standalone from the show that you are about to download.

Enjoy!

cool..thanks for the quick response! I have done the steps both you and the ChamSys guy described, but Capture is not responding to anything on the console. In the Alpha view, there is a band and some lights that are on (looks like a blue gobo rotating) but when I bring up faders on the ChamSys, nothing happens. One thing I did notice is that when I clicked on "external universe" on Capture, there are three universes "searching". I seem to be missing something here... Thanks! "ned"

it is as easy as described on the video, and it could help being connected to a physical network too but anyway this is another story. The external universes are the ones coming from chamsys so if you have set it up correctly they should appear under external universes and automatically connect to the project universes. try enabling artnet outputs on chamsys, maybe this works faster for you.
