Could you simply let me know when the library is out of date? Or could you tell me the current version of the installed library?

Library updates are daily. If you go to the Library tab and click on the cog wheel on the top left side of the tab, the update window will show you the date of the lbrary installed and also give you the option to donwload the latest update. More information on library updates can be found in our manual.
