Hello guys, hope you're all doing well! My name is Vinicius, I'm from Brasil, work at On Lighting Studios and I purchased Capture 2024 some time ago. I’ve been using it mainly to build lighting plots and similar projects.
Recently, I started using Blender for 3D animation and realized that I could import these animations into Capture. Now, here’s the scenario I’m facing: I created an animation of a ballerina dancing across the stage, imported it into Capture, and programmed the lights using GrandMA2. If I start my GrandMA2 playback as soon as the ballerina reaches “position 0,” the lights follow her perfectly, and the scene looks very realistic.
However, when I go to record a video, I noticed how Capture behaves: it records the movement and behavior of the lighting fixtures, but not anything else. Everything that is not a lighting fixture appears in the video as it is at the moment of rendering, not as it is during playback. This causes the lighting and the animation to be out of sync.
Is there any way to include animations in the recording process, or do you see any possible solution for this issue?
Thanks in advance — I really appreciate the software!
