bug on macos tahoe, black screens into the project view, impossible to edit anything...

Thank you for reporting. Our Software team will test the developers beta prior to the official release and resolve any issues. 

Ookay... at the end of summer holidays ? As it's a major bug, it's clearly impossible to use capture as it affects the main functions. So do I downgrade my OS or is there a chance to get a fix for that in the few weeks coming ?

The bug is specific to Capture 25. Capture 24 works perfectly under Tahoe.

The fix is irrelevant to any internal vacations, while it is only relevant to the public release of the new macOS version. Currently it is still in beta. Until then if it does not work for you then the only option is to roll back to the latest public release version which we fully support. Usually it just works, but from what you report this is not the case this time.

Once we support it we will update the download section of our website with the latest macOS version number.

I have the same problem with Capture 2023. Does this mean that my software is now useless? I launch it and get a black screen. Will there be a software update? How does it look from your side? Theoretically, the programme is supported for 5 years.

It is possible that upgrading to Tahoe renders Capture 2023 useless, yes.

We do not plan to release any updates of versions prior to 2025. The five year promise is for technical and fixture library support, not updates (as explained here).

If you need to update your operating system to one not supported by the version of Capture you purchased, you may need to purchase a Capture upgrade.
