Lights just off real focus point. - Capture - Forum

So my issue seems to be even with a one-to-one stage and capture build the downstage center position for example, when focused on stage is about 4 feet up stage from the point the lights are focused at and capture if that makes sense. Is there a way to almost calibrate a specific point on a plot so the lights and focus and the lights on stage focused to the correct position?

Sorry, talk to text made some errors in that last statement. I would like capture and the stage to focus at the correct point but the lights, even though they are perfectly measured and placed on stage do not line up in real time.

Capture usually is spot on (pun intended) when it comes to position.

Mistakes happen sometimes when fixtures are focused from a very low hanging position, when the focus position is directly underneath the fixture or when the information in the manual about the pan and tilt limits are incorrect.
Otherwise, check if your fixtures are factory reset and do not contain special settings like pan/tilt swap or some hard limit.
