We have come up against an issue when transferring fixture data between capture files, whereby we can export all fixture data including filters/GOBOs but when we import the file exported, we have no option of importing these fields

Please add the abilty to choose to import (or not) all exported fixture data fields. I am specifically looking to import the Location field on this occasion.

Generally speaking the best method of transferring fixtures between project files is by using the Import Model command. This is not just for other file formats, it also lets you import from other Capture files.

We agree that it would be nice to be able to import gobo and filter information too.

I'm less sure about importing location information. This is primarly meant to be deduced from nearby truss.

Thanks Lars,

Appreciate that the primary method for sharing data is within capture files, I'll look into this further. It makes sense that location information normally comes from trusses. In this particular case I have parts of the same rig going to three venues, the file has come in as an MVR and the truss isnt assigned as capture trusses (as this isnt required fot the process) adding location information manually in one file, exporting, modifying and reimporting to the other files is what I was trying to achieve. Again it would be great to have the option to import this information though maybe this happens with the Import Model route.
