hi, sorry, but i don`t get it; ... i want to import some trussing (*.dwg, fd34 circle out of vectorworks) into my 'capture-stage'. i chose extract, than a new window appears and i can see all of my objects from the dwg. perfect, so far. BUT i can`t move the objects, although i can select them. my question is: how do i get the dwg-objects in my capture file guess it`s pretty simple, but i don`t get it done. thx a lot for your help!!!!

Is there a way to create soft edges for the lights. When I have all of my lights on they create weird shapes on the stage and do not blend together. When the lights have different colored filters in them then it looks really weird. It would be great if the lights could blend so I don't see the lines. Is this even possible to do If so how.

Hello Is there a way to sett different materials or textures on imported DWG files. If you use the premade forms or objects in Capture you can sett materials, but not on imported forms Working with Sketchup and exports as DWG to Capture. And how do I make the groups in Sketchup work in Capture

Is it possible to draw cone with: top diameter 120m bottom diameter 80m high 15m and add materials for it

I am using Capture as my visualizer for Light Factory (LF). Before upgrading to the latest versions of both LF and Capture I was able to control lights in Capture from LF without issue. However, after the upgrade, the DMX values are not showing up in Capture. I know the two applications are still communicating because I can select lights in LF and the corresponding light in Capture is selected (or highlighted). Any ideas what could be causing this -Ryan

Hi All, I’m looking into hiring - or possibly even trying to buy, a PC or Mac system that will run Capture visualisation smoothly for pre programming an upcoming show. It'll need to run approx 150 generic fixture, 20- 30 moving fixtures, plus LED battens within a venue drawing and associated surfaces effecting light. Can any of you offer advice on realistic processor, graphics card and memory spec for either PC or Mac that you have experience of being stable Many thanks for your time. .

hello whenever i try importing a dwg file it crashes capture. i am trying to import dwg from vector works is the any instructions one should follow to successfully import dwg and perhaps a list of what 3rd party drawing software which works along side capture cheers matt

Hello could you help meI would like to create 2 channel for a ramp of 10 to dimmer dmx, in two colors on projectors showtec / arrays / sunstrip.I do not arrive has to separate them, and to control them.thanks
