Hi all,
I am trying to get my views and camera controlled via a Streamdeck connected via companion. Has anybody managed to achieve this and could point me in the right direction.
Thank you for your help

For now, you could use the camera hotkeys (Command+5->9). I might have picked up something during the last Capture sneak peak to the 2024 version that they were planning to do something with OSC, but I am not really sure if this means you can control the cameras easily with the Streamdeck.

Just not to the manual apparently. Since I did a search on OSC.

In that case it should be possible to control the Capture camera with Streamdeck. Since the companion app supports OSC to some extend. Someone wrote a way to control ETC desks over OSC, so maybe you could take that and adapt the OSC commands.

Detailed documentation on the OSC commands is available in the reference manual, in section 19.3.3.

Thanks a lot, I am trying to elaborate on what you did. Unfortunately the internal:custom variables are not included in the exports. So maybe it is good to gather a list of variable strings we would like to see included in the Capture module.

I also would really like to have some dynamic variables (so we can have the name of the Camera Catalogue and position displayed on the screen of the Streamdeck key. Those can only be included in a module that is not user configurable.

Hi Floriaan,

Is there a way to include the custom variables in an export? And yes I looked briefly at the modules thing, but I think that's way beyond my Javascript knowledge...
