Hi all !!!
Newbie here... First question...
How do you switch from perspective to parallel projection. In the disign tab under view, i can see all my views in perspective but can not find a way to parallel projection or should i say orthogonal.

Welcome to the Capture family. Once you have selected a Custom view (Ctrl+Shift+X) in one of your views, you will notice that the projection field of the Views Category in the Design Tab gets enabled so you can have the changes you wish.
