Hi, 

Here is my setup : 

laptop, Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17,
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz   2.30 GHz
Win10 22H2
RTX 2080 Super

Here is the best quality i get !

Far away from what i expect.

Are you running any other apps that use the RTX’s resources? I noticed that having another program open that uses the gpu, I see these performance drops.

Also, are you using multiple (high resolution) video sources, playing back at the same time? Maybe you can try another (more efficient) codec. Or reduce the resolution. Or use still images.

Remember that images can be at a lot lower resolution than in your production, because they will only cover a small portion of the monitor you are using to look at them in the live view or render.

How to make sure it work's on the RTX ?
I'm playing a still image 1920/1080

Sorry if this answer might seem simple to you but...

Go to Design>Views>Visualization settings.. switch to quality or Ultra!

Improved?
Not?

Go to Design>Views>
In the view you are viewing Live:
Change bloom to 1.
Change the hue clamp to 100.
Ambient light at zero.

Improved?
Not?

Smoke Box: decrease density
