As seen in the following screen recording, I was wondering what might be causing this intermittent instrument flashing. I am connected to Catpture  with an Eos Family offline editor .

the lights on the sides flickering is just a function of bloom settings. they disappear when turned down

Is it a licesnse version or just the demo of the EOS software?  Without a donlge the EOS Nomad randomly strobes DMX channels to stop you using it in a show.

Well, that must be it. I have only the free version, and it never occurred to me that it would have a feature like that- I thought a full version would require a dongle or key to work with real DMX output.

But then again, Capture requires that, so it should have clicked. Thanks.

hello

I have the same problem with my original atlas version.

I know, it's a version that can no longer be update, but I don't understand why ...I also have this problem using the avolites titan visualizer, so, could it be a computer problem..?

thanx

If you have the latest version of Titan with an AvoKey then you should not have such an issue. If you are using an older version of Titan that worked without an AvoKey then this will also send out random DMX values from time to time, and it is a feature of that Titan version.

Yep. It seems that I am using the ETC Nomad software without a key, for pre-cueing a show offline. ETC found a good way to prevent this from being used in an actual show. Makes sense.
