Is there / Can there be a way that on cable reports, we can specify length parameters?
For instance, with DMX cable... Anything under 5 feet, get's put on the report as a 5 foot cable.
Anything between 5 foot and 10 foot get's listed as a 10 foot cable. Between 10 foot and 25 foot get's listed as a 25 foot cable and so on...

This is exactly what the cable's Rounding property does. If you set it to 5 feet, the length will always be rounded up to the closest multiple of 5 feet.
Understood. But that seems to be on a per cable basis.
What I was looking to do was drag a cable onto my plot and set the start/end points between two fixtures. If that span happen to be 7foot, have capture automatically list that as a 10 foot cable. If that span happens to be 16foot, have capture automatically list that as a 25 foot cable.
Seems that might be quicker than going into the "currently selected" tab for every cable and adjust the rounding... Unless I'm missing a easy step in my workflow.

It sounds like what you are after are some global defaults for rounding when you haven't explicitly set something for a particular cable type. It's definitely something to consider for the future.
