Putting together a project which includes 2 x Chauvet Gigbar 2.
Though these are available in the fixture list there are a number of issues.
1. The 'bar' with the is the wrong way and the 'fitted' small strobes and lazer are pointing in a different direction to four larger the Pars.
2. None of the pars are adjustable as they are on the real fixture??
We do have the intention of making these fixtures work "properly" in the future, but it is dependent on a few technical things falling in place in order for that to happen. In the meanwhile we are declining orientation adjustments for a number of reasons:
- preferences of orientation are very individual
- it adds complications to us when implementing the correct solution
- it would break the designs of other user's existing project files
We understand that this is disappointing, we are simply not "there" yet for this type of compound fixtures.
The GigBar has hanging fixtures and also fixtures in the bar. It's these that are facing the wrong way, I am not asking for the fixtures to have the ability to be individually adjusted, I am asking for the GigBar to be corrected so that ALL of the lights face the same direction.
at the moment they point forward and also up to the sky???
could I also mention that you have been posting the same email about your intentions for over a year...
atleast please sort out the direction proble.
