Hi,

We have just discovered Capture and have a student using it for exam work. Overall it is great BUT...

How do you create a plot that contains only the lighting bars and fixtures - so that it can be printed out and given to a rigger? The self-help videos show that you 'right-click' in plot editor and pull in the view you want? In Student edition we cannot 'right-click' - neither on a PC nor a Mac version. Consequently we can only create a plot containing all aspects of the visualisation - set, actors etc. We get a 'Library' tab which has a 'views' button - that only allows us to drag in the entire visualisation, irrespective of what filters etc have been applied to the views.

Is this a restricted action not allowed in Student (haven't seen that written anywhere) or are we missing something obvious here?

Thanks

Rob

With Capture 2021 the right click customization have been replaced with a tab based menu. Once you insert a view to your plot from the library tab, you need to select the view and go to the design tab menu. There you can choose the view you desire from the drop down menu of the type field. Also you may choose to apply a filter in order to get only the items that are included in the selected filter in your plot.
