MacBook Pro 16" 5500M

Hi there

I have a new 16" Mac witht the 5500M graphics card. On any other mac I have used with Capture if you open Activity monitor the graphics card is always on max, With this new machine the graphics card spikes a few times but doesnt max.

Is there any setting s I can change in Capture?

I remember in previous vertions you could change the render engen?

See Screen shot attached, Rendering out video that normaly max's any machine! Its completely idle?

I will wait until some more capture users are running the 16".

as far as I can see capture doesnt make use of the processor of the amd 5500m at all.

Because of the i9 processor general performance isn't bad but I am sure if it used the graphics card more the performance will be much better.

Look forward to see some other responces.

Does your system have both Intel and AMD cards?

Could you check on which card is Capture running? You may easily check this in your Capture's Help->About window.

Yes it does have intel graphics and AMD. I have checked, it says the AMD 5500m
