Omnidirectional Bulb Crashes 2019 & 2018 - but not Capture Nexum

I have downloaded all four (including student) and found that only Capture Nexum allows me to light the the Generic Omnidirectional bulb without crashing.

Macos Mojave 10.14.5

Intel 4000 HD

Is it at all possible to configure the other versions to use this rendering engine? Is it possible to obtain a working copy of 2018 Nexum for my use?

I can report that it is an issue with the Metal rendering engine, as when I enable Legacy OpenGL rendering in Capture 2018, the omnidirectional bulb lights with no issue.

Thank you for your feedback and for your effort on trying to find a solution. We did replicate the issue you described and we are searching for the reason for this behavior. A bug fix will be available in one of our next releases.
