Measurement tool orientation

Is there any way to change orientation of measurement tool besides grabbing the translation grip or selecting translation from the menu? Unlike other objects the measurement tool does not display X,Y,Z orientation when selected. Am I missing something?

Unfortunately, there is no other way to manipulate dimensions in Capture but we are working on upgrading dimension functionalities in general.

That's great news, I hope that might include a simple tape measure tool (like Sketchup's) for quick measurement checking?
