VenueMagic SC+ Connection - Capture - Forum

I’m trying to connect my VenueMagic SC+ project with Capture. Unfortunately I'm having little luck getting any DMX levels into Capture. Here's what I’ve done/tried so far:

- In VenueMagic, under ‘Project Options > Visualiser’, selected enable capture visualiser interface. Then selected the active version of capture running on my laptop.

- In Capture, created a new project with a single RGB lamp addressed at A.1. I’ve then selected VenueMagic as the external universe.

-Running a timeline from VenueMagic which just fades up an RGB lamp (also addressed at A.1): Has no affect in Capture.

-Routed DMX channels 1,2, and 3 to a slider of the VCS in VenueMagic: Has no affect in Capture.

-Tried downloading Capture Polar after reading this forum thread: http://forum.venuemagic.c...iewtopic.php?t=1358: Has no affect in Capture.

-In the Add Fixtures window in VenueMagic, selected Visualiser, and added my VenueMagic fixture to the Visualiser: No affect in Capture.

-Tried downloading Capture on another system connected over network in case it was a CPU issue from running the 2 softwares off one system: No affect in Capture.

-Tried having a physical DMX interface set up from VenueMagic as well as visualiser connection: No affect in Capture.

As far as I'm aware Capture is the only visualiser compatible with VenueMagic and I'm stuck on how to get it to work. I've already e-mailed both Capture and VenueMagic and heard nothing back. I urgently need a solution that will allow me use of a visualiser from VenueMagic!
