Hi all,

I've had the following persist through the last three software updates:

1. Turn on and focus the fixtures in layer ABC

2. In "Filters", disable layer ABC so I can work on layer XYZ unobstructed.

3. The fixtures in layer ABC will disappear, but the light they output does not disappear when I disable the layer.

4. I have to reactivate ABC and turn the fixtures off.

Anyone else seeing this?

Currently using 24.1.24 on Windows 10.

Hi synapse,

I have send an email about this, and developers answer me it's normal.

But I'm agree with you, I think that if layers is hidden, they must be hide in the live view and output too.

Maybe You can email a feature request for this.

Jonathan is correct. This is the standard behavior rather than a bug.
Anyhow, we have noted your suggestion for further assessment with future release. Thank you for your feedback.

In Capture 2019 we have changed this behavior. Meaning that when you turn off a layer in your filter, the emitting light of the fixture will disappear too.
