No dmx/ArtNet Avolites titan pc - Capture 2018 student. -

Windows 10, Avolites Titan PC suite, Capture 18 student

Hello,

I can't seem to get my fixtures in capture to read dmx values.

In more detail.

In avo titan software, I have activated ArtNet on line 1 & 2.

And then patched in 8 fixtures. (VL3000 spots)

In Capture I open the universe tab and I can see the two universes A & B are enabled. ArtNet 0 & 1.

(Mycomputername, Avolites Titan Broadcast Universe 0)

(Mycomputername, Avolites Titan Broadcast Universe 1)

And the console link is activated.

The new fixures pop up in the fixture patch window.

I drag and drop them into my alpha window.

Now in the universe tab I can see the eight VL3000 spots have appered all patched and ready.

I open the live wiev in my "Beta window".

And I see the fixtures pointing down, like they do when no dmx is received.

I open titan software and select the eight fixtures channel 1 tru 8. I can see them get selected in capture. But I get no reaction from the fixture it self other than channel selection. No dmx values are making it through the console link. No dimmer value, no pan/tilt etc.

I can't see what i'm doing wrong. The two softwares obviously have some sort of connection going, but not dmx.

Any ideas?

I have the same issues, Capture 2018 single version, windows 10, titan one dongle

I have the same problem.
Why is there no reply from the official?
Is this problem resolved?

Perhaps you have not connected the dmx from Titan?

Here is a video tutorial we have done about it.

The video has already been watched.
The two softwares are activated on artnet.
The choice of fictionure etc. is a problem that light does not come out because it is recognized.

There are no known issues in the connectivity so it must be something in your installations, and quite possibly in the titan settings you have applied. Therefore in order to receive personalised support i would encourage you to first contact Avolites support and then if needed support@capture.se
