I am having a similar issue although I do not believe mine is because of Majave because I was having the issue before upgrading. Here is what I am seeing and what I have tried:

1. Environment
   1. MacBoc Pro
      1. I am using using Capture 24..1.15 on my MBP
      2. I am in Majave 10.14.1
      3. All firewalls turned off
   2. Dell All-in-One
      1. Windows 10
      2. ONYX Version 4.0.1010.0
      3. All firewalls turned off
2. If I network everything together using my home wireless network everything works fine although with a slight delay between onyx and capture
3. If I plug both into a Gigabit desk switch with hard coded IPs and Netmasks Capture does not see the external universe
   1. I need this to work with a wired switch because that is how I will be using it when doing events plus I do not want to slow it down because of wireless.
      1. I have reconfigured ONYX to use the correct adapter
      2. I have restarted capture
      3. I have tried it with Auto and selecting the correct adapter which it does see with configuring the universe in capture
   2. Now for the strange part. I can see everything with sacnview it just never displays (BSR E.131 Universe 2) under External Universe in Capture
      1. I am not using a hosts file or LMHosts file. But would not think I would need to plus it's working fine with sacnview
      2. I have not tired Artnet (I really don't want to use Artnet, plus SACN is working because I can see any changes in sacnview just not capture
   3. I have tried new cables, new a different switch and using both a cross over cable and a regular Ethernet cable directly between the laptop and desktop
   4. I also Installed ONYX in a fusion VM on the MBP and capture everything works perfectly. It only does not work when hardwired and not using DHCP between the windows machine and my MBP
