Stop objects snapping together?

Can I stop objects snapping together?

The truss I'm building is an irregular arch...when I move a section close to another, I don't want it to snap to the existing and adopt it's angle, I want it to stay at the angle I've set!

Hi,

If you hold the Esc key while moving objects you prevent snapping from happening.

Hi, this esc thing doesn't work on Mac. How to take snapping off with mac?

Assuming you are on a recent version of the software its command now rather than escape.

Ok. Thank you! Would be great to have possibility to take snapping off altogether, like most software have..
