Does anyone have an easy way to light up generic fixtures in order to focus them? Would be good if there was a focus mode for them so they come up at full for setup purposes.

Hi Gareth,

Like a keyboard shortcut? I don't think there is something like that. It would be cool if there was.

The quickest way that I've come up with, is to click on the Fixtures tab, put the list in channel order by clicking on the Channel column. Then click on the fixtures in the list (Shift, Ctrl or both is available for discrete selection) you wish to bring to full, click on the power button and bring the slider to full in the fixture tool window.

Another helpful tip; You can also use the filter option on the Fixtures tab to filter by color, position, channel, fixture name and so on to simplify your search in the list.

If doing a focus of a lot of generics, I don't close the little fixture tool window until I'm satisfied with all of the lights. This way I don't have to keep clicking on the power button with every selection.

Hope this helps! :)

Regards,
Johnny

Thanks Johnny, have found the power control (only appears when you're in live view) now and it all makes sense!
