JB A8 Zoom reversed - Capture - Forum

Hi!

I just noticed, that the zoom-parameter of the A8 by JB-Lighting does not respond to DMX-values correctly.
It seems to be reversed. A DMX-value of 0 results in 48° and a DMX-value of 255 results in 8°.

The fixture control pane works as expected, but as soon as I control it via ETC EOS Nomad, the zoom controls are reversed.

Hi Christoph,

Fixture libary updates are pretty fast, but if you need a quick fix while you wait. May I suggest you copy the A8 fixure in patch with EOS, and edit the copy to change the home value of its zoom to 255 instead of 0?

Just a thought.

AltaBase already replied, saying the fix will be up in the evening.

@Johnny: I was looking for a permanent fix, because I'm working on a presentation file that other people will be using. But thanks for the tip.

Thank you for taking the time to forward as instructed, it speeds up things.

By the way workarounds are always welcome to save the day, but mailing us when you find mistakes also reassures that your problem is gone once and for all benefiting not only you, but also every other user that would have the same issue. Thanks once again for taking the time to notify us!
