Hi,

I just updated to capture atlas from polar, and was looking forward to see a huge improvment on the graphics in the renders (still and video), but no matter what i try it does not come near what i can see on the stills online. the truss looks like it has been in polar etc etc. even on a computer setup capable of high end gaming in 4K resolution.. what am I doing wrong?

Best regards

Haakon

Can you post a render, to show how it looks? Did you work with the new material-properties? Did you set the right Rendering-Settings? Did you turn on spill lighting?

All the best Marco

Hi Haakon,

It's been sometime since I've used Polar, but I recall its rendering settings in that version where located elsewhere.

Have you checked the Rendering settings under the Design tab? Maybe the resolution scaling % in the properties window is set low?

If you haven't already, check your video drivers to see if they're up to date.
When I upgraded to Atlas, I noticed a significant increase in performance and rendering, but wasn't before a video driver update.

What's are the computer's specs? OS, etc?

Best,
Johnny
