Hi Iain,

When the intensity level shows in red it means that the intensity is at full, but something else is blocking the light, such as a closed shutter or iris. In your case, as I believe you're working with AF1000's, it would be the shutter (although they don't physically have one, it shows you the intensity separately from the strobe).
