We are working on a room and need to export the drawing to a DWG to show all rigging points. I am using the Rigging Point Symbol. When I export to DWG, everything exports, except for measurements and Rigging Points. How do I get these to export?

Also... is there any way to generate a report, or a symbol tag or anything that shows the measurement coordinates of the points? That would be very helpful for being able to turn plots over to a crew.

Thank you!

Hi,

We have replied to this in a support ticket, but for the benefit of all forum readers -

DWG model export only includes models, that is no symbols or measurements. The only way to get the rigging points to export would be not to use Capture's rigging point symbol for the purpose but import one from another modelling software.

In terms of including rigging point location information in documentation the best option is to add the relevant information in the annotation of the rigging point symbol and print a plot to PDF.
