Hi,

I am interested in creating a video from the Capture simulating while operating the lights in real-time.
Should I use a screen capture software, or is there some feature in Capture records video in real-time?

Thanks,

Erez

Hi Erez,

you can do that these days within capture. Just go to the snapshot tab in the próject-window. Press the "Record movie" button. Then make framerate 25 fps and press record. Now make your lighting looks controlled with dmx in realtime as you like. When you are done with your Show press stop and name the snapshot as wanted.

Now you can recall the snapshot in capture to Play the recorded dmx or you can rightclick and then press "Render movie" to create a highquality movie.

Happy eastern,

Tim

And how is it possible to zoom and change positioning etc, and render it to a full movie ..?

Kind regards,

You should patch the camera to a dmx universe and control it externally from a console. Then the camera moves will be recorded inside snapshots just like anything else.

Ah Oke i see.

And is it possible to adjust the spread of the camera.. If i patch it now, it is moving way out of the drawing...

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can't control the field of view through DMX, however I think what you are looking for is simply to reposition the camera closer to the objects you wish to see.
