Would it be possible make groups as a single entity. Like if I have a 12 m truss consisting of 4x3m trusses and now I wont to move it to specific location xyz, then I will have on 3m truss instead (4x3m trusses in one point) ...

The function you want to use is called "Translate" and is available under the red spanner button of your selection. It has two modes, relative and absolute, that allow you to position your selection. Unlike the position properties in the design tab, this function also works as expected when making paper adjustments.
