Hey there,
I feel kinda stupid. Wasted serveral hours trying to connect M-PC to my newly updated Argo without any luck.
I honestly just dont know what to do anymore. Im guessing its more of a MPC sided problem than on the capture side but honestly ive got no idea... Is there anybody with some expierence using these 2 programms?
Set Up:
- Both programs running on the same PC
- Tried without an with Microsoft Loopback installed and used to transmit from MPC to Argo
- Tried with dynamic and static IP (one point im not sure of, i dont seem to be able to find the Subnetmask from Argo, guessing its 255.0.0.0 but just cant assure?)
When i use ArtNetominator to see if MPC is sending artnet on the Loopback i get the Message that it cant acces the socket because of its Sharing Properties.
So i tried to change ports. but neither in MPC nor in Argo i can find any way to change ports...
Im just confused and dont know what to try or do anymore... pls help :)

ey again,
As i hought the problem is MPC sided. Here a little piece out of the Martin Support:
"Running both apps on the same PC may be a bit tricky, due to an issue in current M-PC release 604, which cause M-PC not to broadcast Art-Net to Loopback, unless the port is opened by another application (I use MSD to transmit Art-Net first)"
I think this part was causing me troubles. Could find any solution for this but i realized that using sACN is working like a charme. So i just forget about artnet and use sACN instead... :)
Thanks anyways
Cheers
Philip
