When adding measures to my plot the text with size is very small, is there a way to size that up?

Yes, you can create a plot style with larger text size! Plot styles are created in the Design tab, just next to where you create plots. You will need to assign the plot style to the views and / or plot insets as well.
Did not make sense to me to set text size in mm but that did the trick. thank you for your reply.
