I have a question about the measurement function. how can i get the tape assign a snap feature so that I can measure distance as the truss to the wall or floor?

The measurement ends snap to many things, although not all. The idea is to double click on one of the ends to then position it freely. As you move it and hold it near to objects it is supposed to snap to them.
