Thanks for posting the video - Polar looks great and I'm really looking forward to it. What made you choose the name "Polar"?

Also, I was wondering if Polar will be released with the full set of features/functions which 2005 currently has? Or, will Polar start with a reduced set and have the rest added over the following months, like with the switch from Capture 3.0 to 2005?

The name 'Polar' springs from our geographical location! More information will follow. ;-)

Polar is a continuation of 2005 and not a rewrite - no functionality will be lost, just more added!

Just remembered I requested that when ambient light is set to 0% then there is nothing displayed on the screen. Has this added to Capture polar?

I just opened one of my old 2005-files and it looked a lot better. Just more real. Great work!

I installed Capture Polar to my Aspire One 150, but it won't start at all :/ anything advices?

Hi,

We have a confirmed bug that it won't start at all on some machines. We're working on it, but at the moment we have no solution.

You can try upgrading your graphics card drivers, or even replacing the graphics card if that is an option.
