Hi Capture Team and Users,
I'm new with Capture Polar and i tried to build my first stage. I have looked at the video tutorials and they helped me a lot. Fixtures, patching and controlling with Artnet is working fine.
Now i want to build a ground support with f34 global truss. For example 4 towers (3 Meter) with 4 3ways corners and 2x3meter truss for each side. So the box is 7 x 7 meters and ca. 3,5 meters high.
With clone it is easy to arange straight trusses. But how do i get the corners easy connected? Is there somethin like a snap feature to get the corner connected to the other truss?
Or have i to calculate each coner position on my own and adjust the position manual. It's a bit dificult because the center of the corner is not the center of the truss.
Perhaps someone give me some beginenr tips how to do tha easily :-)

Hi Christian,
Yes, there is a snap function. It is activated while you're moving objects around - simply hold an object close to another object and you will be shown in purple where it would snap! The snap function will rotate your truss pieces as well. Keep in mind that Capture always does the "closest" snap, so depending on where you approach the connection point from, it may snap in different ways! Also keep an eye on the "missing coordinate" - if you're trying to snap items in a top view, but they are 10m apart in height, then it won't snap.
